Coach: Ken Berry

“ In the ten years I have coached the Cross Country Team at Alverno, the team has been league champions six times. The JV team have been league champions all 3 times we have had JV races. Following my first year as the Cross Country Coach, the team grew larger and stronger each year. For the 2007-2008 season, Alverno has the largest group to date with 24 runners on the team.
For the last seven years, the team goes to a campsite by the beach at Sycamore Canyon in August. There we hold a seven-day running camp for the Alverno team, where students run twice a day in many trails in the Santa Monica Mountains.” - Coach Berry
